As we expand our capacity, we are seeking new PLAYshop Facilitators. This growing team will facilitate programs we developed for schools, social service agencies, first responders and other caregivers, which have taken off locally in the last few years.
We are seeking individuals who are dynamic and comfortable facilitating groups of all ages utilizing both verbal and movement skills. It is not a requirement to be trained in theater or dance, but similar skill sets are key to a successful PLAYshop facilitator.
Our PLAYshop Facilitator Training is a three-day intensive program. During the course, you will learn about Second Response, the PLAYshop methodology and its supporting curriculum and research. At the end of the program, you will be positioned to utilize valuable tools to help children and caregivers develop social-emotional resiliency.
The PLAYshop Facilitator Training is FREE. After successful completion of the entire training, you may be invited to be a part of the PLAYshop Facilitator team, which is called upon to assist facilitation of our on-going community programs as a paid contract position.
